This project is a style study. I was assigned to make a four pack in the Hatch Show Print style. To imitate a lettepress-esque style, I hand drew the main subjects, and used illustrator to color giving the ink a layering effect. I also misaligned the colored areas and added texture to help push the hatch style further.

These are my two sketches used to create the textured outlines of the "hatch show print" style study 4 pack. They are in two different stages, the one on the left is freshly scanned in and unedited. That is what it initially looks like, and then the one on the right has been edited in Photoshop to create darker black lines while keeping the texture. The clown is lacking a background because I. chose to use the same on both packaging.
